“Good news, the scope is dialed in. Had a gunsmith check everything out and they got the scope adjusted properly. Have attached a pic of the target.
Their notes:
‘Bore sighted, then took gun to range and shot two groups off the bench. Gun will shoot under 2" @ 100 yds with no issue.’

“You guys are a class act! Got the scope today and swapped out my G4 on my Marlin 39a. Packing and that wood scope box is very cool. I picked Excellent on the B4, and it looks spotless. I will send my G4 soon with form and check to get it refurbished. The tube is in great shape, but objective lens looks dusty and cloudy inside.
I will definitely recommend you guys on the Facebook groups I belong to. Especially lever guns!

I’d like to thank you for the fine job of restoring my grandmother’s Weaver K4 60B. She gave me the scope when I first started hunting and it was my first scope. She had used it on her Remington 722, .244 Remington and I used it on my dad’s Savage 99 EG, it had sat idle for many years and a few years ago I had got it out and it sat on a rag and somehow moisture got to it and rusted the underside of the scope. I was very disappointed and did an online search and found Vintage Gun scopes, I am so thankful that you provide a service of restoring these vintage scopes. I hope in the near future to put the scope on a model 99 again and take it hunting. I've attached a photo of the scope and the original box it came in.

“I don't do this very often, but I felt I needed to send you folks a note. I received the 3x power scope the other day and was very pleased with it . I mounted it on a 1955 model 70 Winchester in .270. I enjoy the old rifles anyway I took it out and shot it for the first time this morning. It only took 3 shots to get it sighted in and after a few more I have decided I did the right thing by making this purchase. The groups are the size of a dime at 100 yards… I've used this rifle for a couple of years now and it's my favorite and with this setup I can see it will be even more special. I can't wait for next season to come in.”

“The scope arrived safe and sound this afternoon. All I can say is wow – the fit/finish, optical clarity, etc. of this scope are awesome. Special props to the packaging department as well – was not expecting a wooden display case. I can’t recall the original K2.5 specs regarding eye-relief, but was initially concerned about “scope bite” particularly on a 45-70. Not sure if eye relief is something you modify as part of the restoration, but I have no concerns now with the extended relief this scope has. I can’t wait to get this mounted and sighted on my rifle (I’m in the 10 day window!!). Really appreciate the craftsmanship and expertise in making these products available. I LOVE taking a vintage item and restoring/improving upon it with modern capabilities.”
