Refurbished Weaver V-8 on a FN Mauser

“Thank you for the quick turn-around on my old Weaver V-8. It is back home on my FN Mauser that I had built in 1965 then restocked in 1967. This was the 1st scope I put on it after the original build with a pretty nice walnut stock. I then went to work for Roberts Wood Products in 1965 when they were located in Portland, OR as a carving machine operator. They moved to California in 1967 and I did a run of 18 of this stock design, then the stock finishers took over and did my design. It still shoots a 1/2' group and has taken many deer and elk. I do tape it up with camo tape when hunting though.”
